GMAP is a youth-focused creative initiative by Maunamars™, designed to encourage Jamaican youths to nurture their creativity and recognize the value of their artistic gifts through visual arts.
The program includes guided learning sessions with creative challenges and assignments that connect to the Galactic Marsians Art Competition (GMAC) — a structured opportunity for students to achieve artistic growth, self-expression, and recognition, while showcasing their talents.
Maunamars™ cares deeply about uplifting creative communities. This program also highlights the work of visual arts teachers, many of whom feel overlooked or undervalued, and offers opportunities to support parents of creative children.
All participants receive certificates. Parents and teachers of students who earn 1st to 3rd place in GMAC will be featured on the Maunamars™ website and in the Marsian Magazine. These features offer opportunities to share advice, promote their work or business, and foster creative community growth. Also, at the end of the school year the winners and their parents and teachers will be invited to the Galactic Space Talk Show.
