Welcome to the Study Desk
Listen to me carefully. I think learning another language makes me feel smart and responsible. I did not say those who don’t think the same are otherwise. Gentle people, in my country I see a lot of foreigners. Not just any foreigners, but Chinese and Indian foreigners. They own many stores in our country in almost every parish, mostly shoes stores, haberdasheries, supermarkets, meatshops and appliance stores. They speak to each other in their native language and we are not able to understand what they are saying.
But when I say Xiexie ni, their eyes light up with appreciation. Their face broadens into a smile or their lips form the letter “O”. Learning the language is a bridge that stretches across the gaps between us and them, their stories, cultures, histories, and what they really think of us. I must confess that I love Chinese people, they are so cool. I am fascinated but I have yet to believe I am until I master their language and truly be able to have decent conversation in Chinese with them. Once I arrive at a good place in learning Chinese I can begin stacking Hindi. So far I’m learning the devangari script in the meantime. If you’re learning these two languages study with me please. Your gorgeous company is appreciated. I’m so excited to share my personal study notes, where I break down the mechanics, aesthetics, the vocabulary
I intend to be so detailed that even the word origins and histories will be considered.
Recently I arrived at this amazing idea while I was getting bored of studying to make Visual Study Notes, like making comics rough sketches, panel ideas, and early character illustrations, doodle illustrations etc
If you guys love the rough drafts and study guides I post here you can access the full-length, completed comic stories live exclusively over on Patreon for my Martian Osferians! Oh My God of Daniel, this will be you qu!
